Welcome to The Public Domain Review caption competition! This is how it works: we provide an image calling out for verbal adornment and you – the cunning, witty and imaginative reader – submit your caption via one of the following 4 ways:

1) In the comments section here at the bottom of the page appropriate page
2) Through Twitter using the hashtag #PDRcaptions
3) Through Facebook in the comments under our post for that particular week's competition
4) Through email by sending a message to captions@publicdomainreview.org

We will then choose 3 finalists to be put before a public vote to determine the winner who shall, as a prize, receive one of our beautiful PDR cloth tote bags!
