With 100,000 objects dating from ancient times to the present, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is the largest art museum in the western United States. In early 2013, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art launched a new collections website that dramatically increased accessibility to the museum’s holdings. Visitors can now download nearly 20,000 high-quality images of public domain artworks from LACMA’s permanent collection without restriction on use.
