Urte Laukaityte is a writer and researcher. She completed her PhD in philosophy at UC Berkeley. Prior to that, she read linguistics as an undergraduate at Cambridge and got a cognitive science MSc from the University of Edinburgh. Her interests include psychiatry, history of medicine, as well as the mind and life sciences more broadly. She is involved in science communication, producing the [Many Minds](https://disi.org/manyminds/) podcast, and also various art collaborations.
