Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is the research library that officially serves the United States Congress and is the de facto national library of the United States. It holds a vast collection of books, manuscripts, photographs, and more. Since 1994 it has made digitized versions of collection materials available online, concentrating on its most rare collections and those unavailable anywhere else - all available under an open license. We feature content from a variety of different Library of Congress collections: Prints & Photographs Online Catalog; Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division; National Jukebox; World Digital Library; and their collection of books uploaded to the Internet Archive.
